A rare and unusual cast iron candle stand taking the form of a tripod table, retaining its original Japanned decoration. Almost a trade traveling example, but works well as a stand .
The cabriole tripod table with traditional table catch is of true proportioned . Gilt rococo decoration follows up from the legs to form a gilt border pattern to the painted top. Here a central bird is surrounded by flowers including daisy's and blue bells. The background having a wonderful green tit to it.
