  GOOD PRATTWARE COW GROUP, c.1820. £SOLD  
Interesting early COW GROUP, produced in a buff coloured earthen ware body. The figure of the milkmaid and calf both produced in a creamware body ( uncoloured). The two figures decorated in prattware colours the main cow in black as is the sponged decoration on the steped base.
This style of figure is usualy attributed to Yorkshire, circa 1820.
Height 14 cm, length 17 cm,
Provinance. bears old Wynn.A.Sayman of Richmond Mass.lable.
Condition, typ[ical restoration to horns and ears.
